Medway is five towns along the river that gives it its name: Strood, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham and Rainham. Rochester began as a Roman stronghold where Watling Street crossed the river, and its Norman castle still stands opposite the cathedral. Down the river, Chatham's Royal Dockyard built more than 500 ships for the Royal Navy over 414 years, and Charles Dickens grew up in Chatham.

Five towns, one river, every loft

Moving out of a new-build on St Mary's Island, beside the old dockyard, or clearing a family home in Rainham before it goes on the market? Post the job for free and licensed, insured local carriers send you quotes. You pay once your waste has been collected, and every job comes with a waste transfer note, kept in your account.
