Garden waste removal
Cut back the hedge, dug out a border or finally cleared the shed? Post a photo and licensed local collectors will quote to take it all away.
You choose, and you pay once it’s gone.
What collectors take
- Cuttings, branches, hedge trimmings and turf
- Soil, rubble and old paving, as long as it’s not contaminated with oil, tar or chemicals
- Pots, old sheds, decking and fence panels
- Garden furniture. Upholstered garden furniture falls under the POPs rules, like a sofa, so say so when you post.
Your council’s garden bin
If your council runs a garden waste bin, it’s a good way to clear cuttings a little at a time. It’s made for green waste, not soil, rubble or a whole garden at once, so check what yours takes.
Soil and rubble are heavy
Soil, stone and paving fill a van by weight long before it runs out of space. Say roughly how much there is, and add a photo, so collectors know what they’re quoting for.
Checked for you
The law makes you responsible for who takes your waste. On scrapmarket, that’s handled. Every collector’s licence, insurance and ID are checked before they can quote, and the licence again every night. They’re paid only once we’ve seen proof your waste reached a licensed site, and you get a waste transfer note on every job. How we check every collector.
