Redditch's name is thought to come from the red clay of the River Arrow. It grew as a centre of needle-making, and later of fish hooks, fishing tackle, motorcycles and springs. It was made a new town in 1964, and Arrow Valley Country Park gives it 900 acres of open space and a 30-acre lake fed by the Arrow.

Needle-sharp, haystack-free

Emptying a home in semi-rural Webheath, or a house in Headless Cross, which once had three needle works of its own? Post the job for free and licensed, insured local carriers send you quotes. You pay once your waste has been collected, and every job comes with a waste transfer note, kept in your account.
