Worcester grew up on the River Severn, at what was for a long time the only river crossing between Gloucester and Bridgnorth. Royal Worcester porcelain was first made here in 1751, and the city gave its name to Worcestershire sauce, traditionally made by Lea & Perrins. Look out for Glover's Needle, the tower of a demolished church, which has the steepest church spire in the UK.

Fits like a Worcester glove

A spare room in Warndon, a garage in Ronkswood or a house in St John's being cleared for sale: you can post the job for free, and licensed, insured local carriers send you quotes. You pay once your waste has been collected, and every job comes with a waste transfer note, kept in your account.
