Milton Keynes was designated a new town on 23 January 1967, taking in the old towns of Bletchley, Wolverton and Stony Stratford and fifteen villages. Its planners laid out a grid of roads about a kilometre apart and filled the spaces with lakes, parks and heavy planting, with the River Ouzel winding through. The Concrete Cows are its most famous sculpture, and it became a city in 2022.

Every grid square, every garage

Emptying a house in Wolverton, the town the railway company built for its workers in the 1840s, or clearing a home in Bradwell, an ancient village now part of MK? Post the job for free and licensed, insured local carriers send you quotes. You pay once your waste has been collected, and every job comes with a waste transfer note, kept in your account.
